Beautiful day, beautiful wedding, beautiful couple.
I’m not gonna lie… I’m quite jealous of Tanya & Tommy’s organicly awesome wedding. The thought of copy and pasting my face over hers and pretending it was my own wedding has crossed my mind : ). Everything came together so nicely from the lace dress, assorted white flowers, comfortable venue… even the random roosters struttin’ around were a welcomed addition. They even served smores and lobster mac ‘n cheese for their guests, how cool is that? We also loved seeing our photos from their engagement session put to such great use! Since our March was so jammed packed with 8 (!) weddings, she luckily was able to switch her wedding date to April so we could work together. I advised her that April was also a great month without a lot of rain, so you can imagine our fear when thunderstorms started up the first week of April. Luckily our Vitalic voodoo rain dances did the trick and the weather was just lovely. They are such a sweet couple and deserved this beautiful wedding, we’re so happy for you both! Stay tuned… Our video preview will be up shortly!
Well where to begin…Sarah and I have been BFF for about 22 years, since we met in our 1st grade play. I can’t imagine my childhood without this girl, and I couldn’t have been more excited when she asked me to capture one of the most memorable days in her life! (If you have babies in FL, I’ll be there for that too, just sayin’.) Sarah has always been a natural beauty, and I think you’ll see that her wedding to Mike displays the same style. I tend to get emotional at weddings from time-to-time, so you can imagine how I was when I walked in to Sarah’s grandma’s house to see her getting all bride-ed up ::fanning eyes motion::. I must say her grandmother’s house is like, the epitome of a grandma’s house, perfectly vintage and sweet. You’ll see a few photos of the coolest map she had on her wall with pins in all of the places she had traveled in her 91 years. Since Mike and Sarah are an adventurous couple, having packed up to drive across the country until they found a place they liked enough to live, I thought the map provided just a little bit of symbolism. I hope you two have the most wonderful life together…and that it one day brings you back to the homeland of Florida. : )
So you may recognize this couple from their cutie Disney engagement session in Orlando from a couple of months ago. Well Chloé & Ernie are back with their Lilly Pulitzer inspired wedding held at the Costa d’Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach. Chloé has such great taste, there were so many cute details, patterns and colors. Everything came together so beautifully and it really matched their happy personalities.
A little lesson we learned from this couple, don’t put a “get married” reminder alarm on your cell phone, or it may go off during your ceremony! It was so cute though, as hard as he tried, the groom couldn’t get it to turn off : )
After our whole car-breaking-down fiasco in Orlando, we really got a chance to know them better and felt like we were shooting a friend’s wedding. You are both so perfect for each other, and we hope you enjoyed your Disney cruise honeymoon!
