Central and South Florida Wedding Photographer

As each new year approaches, Chrissy and I always reflect on the happenings of the past year, remembering the many wonderful people we’ve met and worked with, our travels and our favorite weddings (they’re all faves but sometimes certain ones really strike us).

First up, a perfectly feminine fete in Winter Park, Florida. Gabrielle & Paul‘s day has to be one of our 2012 wedding highlights. The bride and groom could have been models and the venue blew us away. We had seen a few weddings on the web at Casa Feliz so we were excited to shoot there, but let me just say the grounds, the light, the architecture, everything was just plain lovely, not to mention all of the pretty details the bride and her mom planned. Let’s just say it… you can’t go wrong with pale pink peonies.  Southern Weddings must have thought the same thing because they decided to feature it on their amazingly adorable blog.

They also hired Vitalic for their wedding cinematography, their day in motion is so stinkin’ cute and sweet, take a few to see it!

In February we decided it was time to take our first trip to WPPI — a week long conference in Las Vegas where all of the best photographers flock to network and learn from each other.  We met a great group of girls from all over the country who we still keep in touch with.  It was a great experience and we hope to go back again one day (unfortunately/fortunately not in 2013 since we’ll be photographing a wedding in Jamaica that week).  Here are a few outtakes from our travels…

This spring we happened to have a local wedding that turned out to be one of our faves — Lindsey + Shaun’s Orchid Island affair.  The couple once again, is beautiful, the details adorable and the venue is oh-so-memorable.  This wedding was featured in The Knot Magazine AND on Style Me Pretty which is utterly amazing and humbling.

This past summer Chrissy and I found a new location for our studio in The Village Square in Sebastian, Florida.  The space was more conducive to what we needed in a studio and the location is so. cute.  We had a grand opening party in June and have been enjoying our space ever since.  Keep your eyes and ears open for some new studio developments in 2013.

This fall we planned and photographed a styled session here in Vero that produced some of our favorite images of the year.  We like to do these to get our creativity flowing and capture some photos that are Pin worthy!  Green Wedding Shoes also featured this session, they are a huge blog in the wedding industry so it was a exciting honor to be selected!  The shoot took place at a famous local property, Waldo’s Secret Garden — see our original blog post for more images and information.
